I went on Medicare in 2013. Every year they send out the Booklet with the name that is the title of this post. This years edition, an 8.5 x 11 inch booklet is 131 pages long. I never read it. I could opt to receive it in digital form and then not read it that way. I do save the booklet jik I need to read some part of it. So far that has not proved to be the case.

62.7 million: The number of Americans enrolled in Medicare in 2024, up from 19 million when the program began.

I would be surprised if even 100 of the now over 62.7 million enrolled in medicare read the entire booklet.
