Media For Eheim 2224

anyone got any views on the media that should.could be used with this. it currently has Ehfimech and the blue sponge on the first try, and bio stars pulse the sponge in the top. it is running concurently with the old, Hydor Prime 60, to seed it and after a few weeks i will remove the Hydor and transfer the bacteria. just wondering if anyone had any comments or suggetions.

I've got a 2215 containing the sponges and also ceramic media rings/tubes. Ceramics supposedly give more growth space for bacteria.

thanks for that, i think i am going to stick with the mechanical side of things, the ceramic rings and so on. I'm just undecided on the biological side. . that is unless someone has some different ideas.
