Hi

So far I've given my fish 2 different types of flake, some peas and some cucumber. I think they need some "live" food aswell don't they? Can anyone recommend what would be best for my fish (Platys and Honey Gouramis)? On Charthouse they have some that comes in gels. Is this stuff ok? I don't really like the idea of giving them actul live food.

just go for frozen live food you lfs will keep it bloodworms, tubifex worms, daphnia, brineshrimp all these will be fine for those fish also you can buy live food cultures and culture your own foods like white worm and grindel worms

Hi, thanks

Would these work --> http://www.charterhouse-aquatics.co.uk/catalog/tetra-freshdelica-whole-bloodworms-16x3g-p-1448.html

I've tried them, had mixed results. However, defrosted frozen food goes down a treat, like it did earlier this afternoon!

I've ordered some Daphnia. Just the name "BLOODworms" freaks me out too much.

I'll try the shrimp thing thanks. Lol that I eat such things!

I'm optimisstic about the eating it coz so far they've hoovered everything else I've given them :lol:

It appears I have veggie fish! I gave them the Daphnia, they took it in their mouths.....and spat it back out again :lol: . So I gave it a while, hoovered it up and just gave them their normal food which they gobbled!
