I have way too many baby guppys, and a spare 10 gal thats almost cycled. What kind of fish could be good for getting rid of some babies? no lfs around here will take them, even for free, and all my friends dont want more.
I want to keep having babies, to see what I get, but no room for more tanks, 4 is enough for now.
Any suggestions for fish that wouldnt mind guppy ala carte quite often, but can stay in a 10 gal?

I would think that a betta might do the trick

unless you wind up with an old softy  , but that's doubtful :D

Forget pictus cats they grow too large for a 10g,bettas arent predators so forget them as well, now if you want a pedator that will demolish your fry population stays small and dosent need a lot of space you need to get a South American Leaffish Monocirrhus polyacanthus, very unusual fish with a absolutly enormous mouth and a huge appettite, only gets to about 4" max and will quite happilly just sit there impersanating a leaf and eating any fish up to 2" that swimms by.

I'd try putting a female Krib (pelvicachromis pulcher) in there as they are very efficient at eating baby fish but not so big as to be able to eat an adult guppy. Don't put a pair in though as they will try to spawn and become very aggressive! Other bonuses with the Krib will be the bright colours and very hardy!

the krib is an excelent suggestion i was thinking of a honey gourami (spelling) i had one used to love eating my fry.

I was thinking about a gourami or 2. I could always move fish around to accomadate them if I had to
