Mean Molly

We have a 10 gal tank at work that had 2 guppies and 1 molly in it. Over the weekend the 2 guppies
were killed. I thought the 2 types of fish got along. What can I put with this molly?

Mollys are really too active and grow too big for a 10gal, did you test your water for ammonia, nitrites and nitrates when the guppys died? Personally i would rehome the molly and stick with either guppys or platys for a 10gal, although make sure you have at least 2-3females per male of either species- you could fit 6 guppys in a 10gal or 5 platys .

Mollies can be quite an aggressive fish.A lot of fish will also act out of character if they are kept in the wrong conditions.Like Tokis says,the tank is really too small and the molly would be better rehomed to something larger

Thanks for the info. I'm not a community fish kinda girl so I really don't know a whole lot about them. I will try and make arrangements to get i out of there. Would it survive with 2 dwarf gouramis? If so I'll put him in my daughters tank.
