Exactly the same process except you "hover" the vac over the top of the sand (rather than dig in like you do with gravel) and the poop and stuff will lift and be syphoned leaving the sand where it is. You may lift a little sand but it will be minimal.

Are there any pure black Mbuna's?

None that I know of
