My betta has been having brown things the size and shape of the freeze dried blood worms I feed him occasionally hanging between the two dangly fins under his head. I don't know whether this is where they poo from, or whether it is internal worms or something hanging down. And if it is just weird looking poo, is it bad for it to be shaped like a freeze dried blood worm? I looked up stringy poo, and his doesn't look white or really gooey. It almost looks like he just had an undigested blood worm stuck to him, so I don't know if it's even poo at all. He seems otherwise healthy and happy...
