Hello,
at the moment I only own 1 betta fish. He is goldish with a little see through. I got him today but I have had other betta fish. I tried to breed my bettas before earleir with other bettas but my male that time was blinde and old so I might get another female.

Should I try to breed again...

I'm gonna vote for NO. Betta breeding takes a lot of time, effort, and research. IF you plan on breeding, I hope (for your bettas' sakes) that you do more research rather than randomly deciding you want to try it. If you do it incorrectly, you'll likely get lots of damage to the parents. Please read the stickies at the top of the forum. Google is also your friend in this matter :)

I agree. You need to be very prepared. Ive been reading up on it for 5 months already and im still not going to do it yet

I did do reaserch for the first time. I reaserch from when I got my second betta for almost a year and then I got a female and then I did more reaserch and then I tried breeding but my male betta couldnt see so they ignored each other...

Fair enough. But thats not a very common problem, are you sure thats what was wrong? If he couldnt see he wouldnt have been able to keep up with the looking after the eggs anyway so wouldnt have been a good idea breeding him

Ok nevermind I will not breed them... I think I will just get another male betta after this one dies

I've must of read the same websites about breeding bettas over 2 times.I kept going on and off about breeding but now im sticking with it.When i get my yellow hm i will try and breed.
