Ok well you know how your suppose to wash your hand after doing anything with your fish tank. Well what if you didnt, and there was a disease/parasite that got to you. What would be the result if it was serious?

Bah, I wouldnt worry about it. IME and from what I've read theres nothing to worry about. But you should just for cleanliness sake...a lot of fish poop in there.

Your kitchen chopping board or keys on your computer keyboard contain dozens of more harmful bacteria than found in your fish tanks, i would wash your hands if you were medicating the tankls with anything as alot of fish meds contain substances that are harmful to people but otherwise i wouldn't worry about it.

the only fish disease that can be transfered to humans is fish TB.
the only other thing you should be worried about is cleaning your hands after handling cockles, muscles and other shellfish used for feeding certain fish, as these can have various bacteria like ecoli, salmonella etc.
