I have a Fluval Vicensa 280 tank. There is a number of community fish and plecos.

i have :

3x 2" Bristlenose Pleco
1x 7" Royal Pleco
1x 4" Common Pleco
1x 2" Orange Marble Pleco
1x 4" King Tiger Pleco
1x 4" Yellow King Tiger Pleco
1x 4" Galaxias Pleco
1x 7" Royal Farowella

I feed them pleco wafers every night just so they have enough to eat. am i doing the right thing or have i got too many plecs in my tank.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Far too many plecs to be honest. What is the footprint of the tank and what filtration do you have?

As Darkstar has said - too many.

I'm a heavy stocker and even i think thats too much :D

we have a rio 240 with the following in and would not put any more in - mainly due to territories - its a 4ft tank and the L025 has one end - the L075 has the other end with the L400s hanging in the middle.

1x 5" L025
4x 3" L400s
1x 6" L075
(at the moment we also have 3x 4" rangers but that only temporary)

Filtration wise we have a Tetratec ex1200 - a 305 would not be man enough imo.
