Mature Media In Nottingham Anyone?

A friend of mine is in halls of residence, and they have a cleaner once a week. Each night they cleaner comes he has to move his tank elsewhere. Elsewhere will be to my room overnight.

It's a 30l biorb , but aside from that the most important thing already is that it's not cycled. He was given the whole 'oh here have some mature water', from the fish shop.
He started with 8 fish (don't know what type yet), gave 2 to his dad and now a couple have died.
He was really upset about it because once again, it's a good person who just got bad advice!

Anyhoo, if anyone could get some mature media to me tomorrow I would be so unbelievably grateful, as would my friend. Oh any plants would also be gratefully recieved, even if it's something as simple as elodea.
I'm based around the University either at the main campus or jubilee campus.

Please help!

Bump, not normally the kind to seek attention, but as I could really do with getting this tonight...

Put the fish in a bucket or bowl and do water changes in that,let the cycle take its course with out water changes in the tank.

Not an option.

1. It's not my tank

2. It's no where near the easiest/most practical way to cycle the tank. If I can't get any tonight then I'll just have to talk him through a fish-in cycle.
