Although I am new to this forum, I am writing my first post in desparation for information. My mature male molly has been swimming very irradically for about 24 hours now. He is swimming head up in the tank, and listing to his right side. Whe he does swim, he only seems to be able to swim in circles. He has no other markings on his body, and will still eat when we feed. Other times he is just lying on his side in the bottom of the tank. Up until about three days ago he seemed perfectly healthy and happy chasing the females around the tank.

Any suggestions would be very appreciated....

It sounds like he may have Swimbladder disease. You'd probably be best off asking in the Emergency Forum, or asking a moderator to move this topic.

A quick search on the forums brings up lots of threads on swimbladder;
TFF Search - Swimbladder

It might be benefical for you to read through those and see if the symptoms match those of your fish. :) Good luck!

Thank You Annastasia,

I am studying now. Although I am relatively new to aquariums this time around, as a child growing up, my family were suppliers to some of our local pet stores.

Thanks again.
