Well I got a crayfish and put him in the 15 gallon tetra/betta tank and gave him a little hiding space. And at night I was sure to put enough food in for him. anyway, all seemed fine until I saw my betta swim in, he came out 5 minutes later fine and dandy.. he seemed to like visiting the mini-lobster and it does not mess with him at all (I watched with a flashlight a few times. But the last time he did it. the betta swam in and the crayfish cut some of his fins off!! And the betta just sat there, not trying to get out or anything!!

What is up with that?!! Is it stupid or something? this si the same Betta that swims up into my filters bio-wheel area. :/

In any case, the cray is now in y goldfish tank and I made his little cave entrance small enough so that no goldfish swim in with him. If any of there fins go missing I suppose I will section off a part of the tank with plastic mesh. –sigh-

First rule of thumb something that eats small fish in the wild probably isn't a very good idea to put with fish in a fish tank. Now he will probably try munching on your goldfish.
