To be honest I do not know.

I still believe in good observations as when nursing I could spot someone with a temperature far quicker than a bleeper on a machine that could have been ill fitted etc. The pt maybe dead and the last reading look perfect. Personally I think its just another gadget.

looks overpriced and unnecessary to me. It's basically a themometer and something you can set to beep every week as a reminder I think. For £15 I think it isn't worth it. A regular mercury themometer and a post-it note (or setting a reminder on your computer) would work just as well and save you £14.

A simple digital thermometer like this one is all you need. That's all I use. I'm sure you can find them cheaper than this though. I think i paid about $3 for mine.
