Marina 110I Filter?

Hey all sorry about the inactivity.

A quick question is has any body had any luck cycling a new fish tank with these cartridge filters?
My tank doesn't seem to be cycling at all.
Obviously when you replace the cartridge you are removing 90% of the bacteria colonies, It has zeolite in the cartridge so technically. There wouldn't be any ammonia to start the cycle?

Any help is appreciated.

Just in case any one is wondering, I have just had my water tested and it came back with a slight ammonia reading so the zeolite isn't taking all the ammonia just enough to stop fish from been effected.

I Have also swapped the filter for a 160i cartridge as it has two cartridges and you swap out one at a time so to not lose as much bacteria.

Any reviews on these filters would still be appreciated.
