Maracyn Dosage For Cories

both of my cories have fin and tail rot, so i'm treating them with mardel maracyn. the recommended dosage is 1 tablet per 10 gallons, but i halved the dosage because they are cories. should i have done this or not?

Corys are fine with bacterial med more the parasite meds, if its bad I would add the full dose, as long you increase aeration it should be fine.
