Male Or Female?

yes i will buy a divider and place it into the tank before i set it up :D
so he has his very own home

Sounds good! I'm sure him and his tank mates will appreciate him having his own space :good:

They would never see him bar one fish, i getting another tank and will only keep killifish in the 40lr side and he will share it with them with a wall between them :p
would sand be okay for him?

Ahh, sounds good! I've always wanted to keep some killifish, they're so beautiful

Yep, sand is good for him :good:

Okays sounds great as i will be changing from gravel to sand soon

oh man now the female vt is terrorizing the other fish :/
am i going to need a tank for her aswell or maybe just sell her ?

You can't house her with the male. You could try getting a new tank for her, but you'd have to cycle it (unless you could move some mature media from your current tank over?). You could get a new breeding net to put her in until then? If not, just take her back to the shop she came from. They should take her back there :good:

What I might do is buy a temp home. Ie a tub or such of 60 ltr and house them there, as in the female and other fish and put a divider in the current tank for her which is also around 60 liter
Or perhaps I just take her back ...

Im taking both back to the shop today
And i will advise the shope keeper about wild betta for future sales
