if its male how could i temporally hold him till my next tank is ready?
bare in mind i currently have no dividers or spare places to hold the other fish to add a divider

Male.

As a temporary measure you could always get a breeding trap and put him in there for a few days. Breeding traps are inexpensive and will just sit in the main tank.

i think it is a male
net him and put hi in a fry catcher

sorry about copying your idea when i was typing it was not up yet i did not know until i posted and saw your post sorry

I have one already but it has the pregnant guppy in :S
after she gives birth could i put him in there perhaps?
or maybe grab another breeding trap ...

Okays
now i must go buy another trap lol
unless i leave the pregnant guppy in the tank and hope her fry survive :/

If there's enough hiding spaces, they'll survive :good:

Honestly, if you didn't plan to breed them, I can say that it's not worth the hassle (wasn't for me anyway, I'd really like to get out of livebearers now!). :good:

Okays goint to trap the little Pk instead :p

Sounds good! He might still flare a little, but at least everyone else will be safe :good:

Yes and i dont want any to be stressed out
he waits for me at the tank to show him a mirror and flares at himself when i do, so funny

The others have calmed down already o_O
seem much happier now

Good, sounds like you've saved yourself and the fishies a lot of trouble by moving him :good:
Try not to make him flare too much, sometimes it can stress them out. 10 minutes a day can be good for them, though :)

Haha i just show him it twice and leave him
though i had to do it longer to get the pictures
Dont worry i wont do it for too long.

Now the only two that are chasing are the plattys, though i got them form the same tank.

they are all teasing the Pk ROFL

The PK needs a name

Thanks for the help guys :D

Haha thats okays
i will think of one for him :D

Also
do you think 1/3 of a 60ltr would be enough for him on his own?

Yeah, 20L is enough for him. Are you going to section a bit off for him?
