I have some 3 corys in my tank - 1 peppered, 1 bronze and 1 albino. The albino and bronze are always together and I was wondering whether, if they are male and female, they will mate? What is the best way to tell the sex of your fish - apart from perhaps body shape - my harlequin rasboaras all look the same!

Thanks for help. :good:

Not sure on cories, however, with rasboras, the females are larger, full-bodied, almost chunky looking, the males are thin and stream-lined, and are usually brighter colored.

Best way to find out is to do a Google search for "peppered cory sexing".

Not an expert in sexing (can I say that!) but I believe harliquine rasboras The male has a straight 'leading edge' of the black triangle and the female has a rounded lower leading edge......make sense?

Don't use the quotation marks. With quotes, the phrase must appear just as it is in the quote or it won't return a result. I just used them in my post to set it off. When I ran it without the quotes, I found this "Females are slightly larger than males and are more rounded".

albino and bronze cories should be able to mate. they are just color morphs of the same species.
