Could you post a picture of the female? She could be pregant or it is possible that he is trying to mate with her

more less if she doesnt look a wee bit fat then shes not that long preg if she is at all... he is more than likely just trying to mate with here

could there be any other reason way he keeps goin to nibble her butt

Don't panic. If you happen to have a female molly carrying fry, it is not a calamity. The fry are quite large at birth compared to things like guppy or platy fry and will survive in some numbers if they have any decent cover, like a clump of java moss.
The chasing and sniffing is the male trying to decide if she is the right species to mate with. All freshwater fish urinate constantly to control their water balance since they absorb water through their skin and must be rid of the excess. It has been shown in various studies that the odor produced is one way males use to be certain that a fish is a suitable mate.

thanks alot oldman u have been a massive help very greatfull . thanks again mate

just became a grandad to 28 baby mollys :D .
any 1 help iv moved they and put them in my spare tank which is always set up n running as my daughters have 3 guppys in it will they be ok in there n wat shall i feed them and how often . many thanks

I feed TetraMinBaby food for baby mollies, it's powder. You could also use flake food, but make it as powdery as possible. Baby fish need food many times a day, like any other babies, too, so 3-5 times a day, with really small amounts, is good. You can start feeding them right away.

Baby mollies will be fine in a tank holding adult guppies. Molly fry are huge compared to guppy fry and the guppies will not molest them much. As far as feeding, several daily feedings with correspondingly large and frequent water changers is just the trick to get decent growth of your fry.

dont i no it oldman need to change water a lot theres many of them the amount of waste is umreal lol

Fry do make more waste than a bunch of adult guppies, believe it or not. You'll be fine :)
