Im not sure on which meds but i would isolate the fish and add some salt.

Pop eye is cause by water imbalance in the body.
Your need to find the cause first

  • How long have you had the tank?
  • What size in the tank?
  • What filtration do you have?
  • Have you done any water changes?
  1. If so how much and how often?
  • When did you last add any fish?
  • Do you test for ammonia, nitrIte, NitrAte and pH?
  1. If so what was the readings?
Mollies are prone to problems so answering these questions will help you in finding what's wrong.

the tank has been running for a year now and he has been in there for the last 8 months.

the tank is 120ltr

i have just added a new filter so atm i have a sera120 (old filter) fully cycled!
and a fluval 3 plus cycling which has also been in for a month now

i do a 40% water change last week for it monthly clean

i added fish the day after the water change for the same store i always buy from and the are fully hearlty fro what i can see

levels

am = 0
Nit = 0
Nat = 10
Ph = 7.5

Honestly I was expecting poor water as this is the most common problem with mollies.
They need good water quality or the commonly suffer these sorts of problems.

Your doing everything right so you should not worry if there anything else you could do to help.

I would guess that something came in with the new fish or he's had a prolonged problem but was able to cope with it. When you added the new fish it would of caused a mini ammonia spike which may of caused the problems to show.

Best i can offer would be doing extra water changes as fresh water dose help, and adding some melifix once a week.
