hi i have a male and female kribensis who follow each other EVERYWHERE in my 75-gallon. The only other fish in the tank as of right now are 6 cories. The female is very colorful and bright. The male, kind of has a tan-ish tone to his body, and he rarely gets any color though. He shows good social behavior with the other fish in the tank, including his mate, and he seems happy.

Are all males not that colorful? Or is it just mine? My female is very beautiful and her color is magnificent, so i wonder why he isnt all that colorful... he looks perfectly healthy though, so i dont think he is diseased.

Pictures of other male kribensis would be great! :)

Males do not get the bright plum/pink belly that kribs are known for so yes females are generally more attractive than the males.
