Male Guppy With Gravid Spot?

Hi Everyone,

I have a teenage guppy that had the paddle shapped fin that morphed into a gonopodium a few weeks ago. The thing is though, is that it has had a gravid spot on and off over the last few days. Maybe this has been going on longer, but I hadn't been paying that close attention until Saturday. The spot (on both sides) will literally be there for five minutes, then go away, only to appear a few hours later for a short time. What does this mean?
