Hi, I've just found this forum in the nick of time to set up my new 75L tank with a fishless cycle! :good:
(aquaone with trickle bar type filter).

I would ideally like to keep only male guppies in this tank, pls can you give some opinions as to whether i can keep them single sex only as I'd rather not have to deal with babies, but obviously i don't want to have them hassling each other all the time either!

Many thanks

Liz

welcome to tff!

yes that will be fine with males only.

just make sure tank is fully cycled first :good:

and make sure you have atleast 5 males to help spread aggression (not hard with all the colours out there)

thanks everyone. :)
i'm still learning to use the search function effectively (i end up reading about all sorts of very interesting but random & unrelated things!)

finally managed to find some ammonia, so officially started fishless cycle today. no fear of getting fish too early as a crazy few weeks coming up at work, which will not leave me any spare time when fish shops are open!
