Any ideas guys? oh by the way all my other fish r doing great...dont understand it, the one that died and the one on its way out (think) were from the lps and i got them about a week ago? could this be something from the lps???

cheers again guys "H"

Your other male is dying, or is being bullied? :huh:

If he's sick, that may be because Guppies are pretty fragile fish as they go. Little things make them sick. What are your water stats? And what fish do you have and what size tank? How long did you acclimate them into your tank water?

Finrot = bacterial
Dropsy = bacterial

Both due to water quality. You will need to do more frequet water changes / gravel vacs by the looks of it and make sure you have zero nitrite/ammonia and acceptable nitrate.

What exactly are your water stats then? Guppies can be sensitive, so something that is a little off could do them in.

They aren't strictly contagious, no. But if there is something wrong in the tank, the other fish could easily get it.

ill let u know tonight but all is fine i promise with the water or all the other guppies would have it to but they dont :(

That's not necessarily true. Some fish are hardier then others, and more immune to diease. Just because the others aren't getting it does not mean your water is fine.

I have checked and changed my water regularly!!!

the water tests have been fine but i will tel u no tonight as on dinner break now :)

thanx tho u guys do help

I'm not saying you haven't. I'm just saying you can't associate all the fish not keeling over with your water being fine. :p

Check your water, do a water change if needed. Are you sure this one has finrot and dropsy? If so, is there any way you could seperate him, and possibly add a bit of salt? Dropsy usually can't be cured, unfortunatly, but if he just has finrot, sparkly clean water and salt should be helpful.
