Afternoon!

I got myself 6 guppies in 3 colours, 2 guppies of each colour.

Duuring acclimatising them I noticed that two of one colour were very still and fast breathing. Upon adding to the tank, they quickly hid themselves away and they died 2 days later.

That was two weeks ago.

This week another one has gone into hiding and his colourmate was washed out (almost white, when he was yellow). Watching him closely it seems pretty clear that he is being chased/harrassed by his two larger relatives (who are the same colour as each other).

It's interesting that it appears that the seperate colour morphs are acting differently - and I'm guessing that the two that died early were harrassed so much during transit (they were all in the same bag) that they were already on their way out by the time they were introduced into the tank.

Has anyone seen male guppies harrasing each other like this? Especially between different colour morphs?
