Male Guppies Are Daft.....

Well, I've had to segregate the male Guppies from my wife's tank as they are bothering her Pictus and coming off worst.


I put them, temporarily until Monday, into the fry tank where a female Platy is about to drop the sprogs.



All three males are trying to do the business with the Platy


They aren't sex-starved in the least. I think they may be short sighted


Oh well, maybe a new cross bred in the making

Lol thats weird because my male platy tries it on with my guppies even the males i think he might be blind

can the fish cross breed? coz i have a guppy which i have had from fry and it has the dalmation dots on it from my mollie but it really colourful like one of my male guppys!

its really strange but looks really pretty!

Matt, guppy molly hybrids are just barely possible but are almost never seen. A guppy platy hybrid cannot happen .

Male mollies are usually the worst with this, I swear I have seen them attempting to mate with kribensis.

lol one of my male platy's likes to try and mate with my male rainbow fish. Bless him!!

my male guppies are daft too, they like to try it on with any female fish, sometimes i have seen them try to with another male, maybe mine are bisexual, never mind i still love them xx
