Male Dwarf Gourami With Pop Eyes... Help!

Can anybody suggest what i can do to help my male dwarf gourami Minty? He started out with what looked like an abrasion just near to his gills, then over the last couple of days he has lost interest in food, is swimming very slowly and his eyes have started to protrude and are emormous. Is there any antibiotic that anybody can suggest please - i'm so worried about him poor thing.

Where are you located? You'll need a broad spectrum antibiotic to treat popeye.

How many fish and which type.
Water stats in ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, and ph.

Has he caught himself on something in the tank near the gill area. Any sharp objects in the tank.
Any excess mucas on the gills.
Does the abrasion look infected.
The fish has popeye.
Can you issolate and use a bacterial med.
