My male betta has a tiny whitish growth with small bubbles in it on one of his pectoral fins. He had it for at least 2 months, at first I thought he was getting white coloring as he is under a year old still and was growing. But it's still there, and I havent noticed any other white spots or ick. He is starting to charge at the tank swiming at it full speed and ramming the tank wall, and his appetite is decreased a little, he isnt as fast to eat his food, but he does eat everything. I dont nkow if these behaviors have anything to do with the spot, or that he is not a young male anymore so he wont eat as fast and got aggressive.

great photo! how do you people get shots like that
id suspect lymphocycstis. have a google of it. it is viral in nature so no "cure". will not outrightly kill your fish. is it raised? like look likea bubble on the fin? that is a good indication of lympho. the blob should eventually disappear on its own. may come back weeks or months later and not necessarily in the same location (think of it as fish herpes).
i wouldnt worry about his behavior change. likely getting old and lazy as they tend to do.
all the best.
cheers

My camera cost a little over $300.00, so the macro on it had better be good lol.

This is the fish from Petco I got at a very young age and thought it was a girl, he is probably just over a year old so fairly young, but no idea what living conditions he was in before I got him. I'm going to Google that term now. Just looked but only found pics of carp and goldfish with it, and the pictures were all of dead fish with nasty sores and bumps. Could my fish die from this?

if it is lymph it is very unlikely to kill your fish. the ones you are seeing are likely specimens, or with ohter secondary issues.
cheers

The growth has vanished from the left fin, and now the right fin has it. My betta still has trouble swallowing his food, but remains at a healthy weight. He is blowing bubble nests and has good colors. Could one of these grow inside his mouth, and affect his ability to eat properly?

The dot on my betta is tiny, not large like on that goldfish. But it's too small for me to make out detail if it has legs? I dont know what to do now?
