I finally got around to taking pics of some of my Malawis in their 100g set-up. There's alot of rockwork in there and it now has a blackout background as I was getting repeated algae issues due to it's proximity to the window.
I haven't caught pics of everyone in there, but here's those that are regularly out all day.

Great pics :good:

Are you trying to fatten-up the L114 in the bottom pic? I count 5, possibly 6 algae wafer's

Out of interest - does the Plec hide all the time? I have one in my large tank and i hardly ever see him - stunning fish though.

 Nooooo. I keep a group of synos in there too and they love algae wafers. It is true I do spoil my fish but then, looking at how they thrive, I'd say it's all for the good.
No, he doesn't hide all the time, as you can see by that pic, but he only comes out every now and then. That pic was taken in complete darkness (love nightvision on the camera). I also have a little L141 in there somewhere. Rarely see him. :X
Found a second good sized male juvie alunocara in there today. Gonna have to get them rehomed before big Daddy loses his rag!

That is my Leopard Cactus Plec which I bought from SmithRC. He's grown a bit since then but still as georgeous.
I just noticed a tiny babe at the bottom of the syno pic. As you can see my Malawis and synos don't seem to be interested in the tinies at all.

what is the name of the top fish i have one just like it and have no idea what it is

I believe he is a Labidochromis hongi, although he is far more purple than others I have seen. There are two competeing males in the tank; he is slightly darker in colouration than the other and it's probable they are related, since I'm sure I only bought one male. They have their own territories tho and rarely cross paths.
