Making Caves - What Types?

Hi all,

I am in the process of making rock decor for my new 72 gal bowfront. I am using extruded polystyrene foam, concrete and epoxy resin. In the interest of making my fish happy, I will be including caves, in the slate motif, as I also have real slate to add in. My question is: should the caves be closed (i.e. only one entrance) or have more than one entrance, possibly an escape route? The tank will be a planted community, with a couple flying foxes, catfish and maybe a few kribs.

i would leave them closed at one end mate personally

I decided to do both. I built a couple of "closed" caves plus a couple pass through types for more freedom. I'll post some pics as my progress continues.
