Made The Move, Stones To Sand

Having only started running my own aquarium for the past two months I decided to go with the sand option. Initially I bought the Argos play sand but ended up going to my local aquatics and buying the proper stuff as I just couldn't get it running clear. It's only a 90L tank so the bag of sand cost around £8.00. The manager said it would require atleast one wash before using it so after several washes I've eventually put it in the tank and filled it up. A day later and it's still quite misty, nothing major but enough to notice. Should I expect it to settle over the next few days or would it require more washes? A little annoyed as the reason I bought the correct (expensive) sand was for the less initial maintenance.

I had no problems with the Argos play sand, took me about 45 mins to do 15kg bag. When i put it in my tank was as clear has a bell so to speak.
