Hey everyone

I was thinking about this topic but I couldn´t find any information about this kind of hybridisation.
Did anyone knows something about this kind of hybrids?

I wan´t to buy one male and two female from both species and put the male of one species into an aquarium with the two females of the other species...

What do you think about that?

Kindly regards,
Philipp

I read it would be possible and the femal F1 hybrids should be fertile, but I´ve never seen any pictures or reports about that.

The goal is to get fish which are hardy like occelatus with influences for coloration like opercularis...

They should bring up a population in my pond. F1 Hybrids with M. occelatus should inbreed freely inside.
