Ok, so... before getting a saltwater tank I honestly never really saw the appeal. Now I do. Every time I look in there I see something new, so I thought I'd share with you. Please do look at the images full size, I saved them larger this time to retain some of the detail. :) I'm so proud; nothing is dead yet, my corals are growing, and even the alveopora appears to be doing well!

This is the critter that triggered the pics... weird little crustacean thing. I turned my back and it was gone as quickly as it had appeared.

Closeup of nice algae on a rock. There's part of a tiny pink bristleworm on the lefthand side close to the bottom.

Pink zoanthid. I just discovered that that rock is covered in tiny tube snails! You can see one at the base of the zoanthid, it's the tube coming out of the rock. I have one of the larger variety as well.

Ricordia has been growing by leaps and bounds, it will split soon :wub:
