Lucky's fish

Great pics, Lucky!

I love the apistos. Are you going to breed the triple red? His colors are outstanding.

Nice of you to keep a few feeders (danois) for dwarfs. :shifty:

Thanks Sorrel , The plants I keep are on the easy end where care and lighting are concerned , basically I don't want to do anything complicated[ or add to my expenses in fish keeping  ] to keep them alive .[ I've had most of these plants going on 7 years ] ..........I'm keeda lazy  , and I too herbicidal tendencies

And thank you Comet , The Apisto has no mate at present , he did but after several breedings she died as result of his advances [ just wore out ], When I bought them it was as a pair , and no other females in the tank . The female cichlid in the tank is a nannacara anomala[ her mate didn't make it through quarantine ].The danios eat good food intended for the others   .

I love the badis - what beautiful little fish!  And of course I adore the gouramies :p Also... just cause I know no one else will admit to it - your danios are irresistable too! :D

Thanks sylvia ,

I have five of those badis badis , I'm pretty sure I have at least 3 males , and 1 female [ I've had fry , briefly ], juries still out on the last guy , it's still small, though it's pretty colorful ......leaning to wards male , that poor little female :/ .

I love those sparklers , wish I could see more of them , they love to hang out in the wisteria , [ hygrophila difformis ] , they aren't as shy as I thought they'd be , barely one " long , ..........I think I need a couple more ;) .

I could resist those danios , but my son wanted rid of them and I needed some schoolers/shoalers , they're very hardy fish .
