Lucky Goby

Today i Thought id try Bumble Bee Gobby again so i bought 3 of the little things. I got home put them in the tank to climatize before releasing them. then my little freind the Dead Leaf fish Came along. i thought crap forgot bout him. he got pretty excited and started swimming round them. eventually i got the courage and reliesed them all 3 hung around and laid on the log. meanwhile my Leaf fish was hiding in the leaves. one of the gobbys decided to swim off. he swam to the leaves and caught the eye of the leaf fish they both were lookin at each other than wham the leaf fish ate the Goby then he started to try and spit it back out after 30 secs the goby got spat out and shot of to the other side of the tank. now the leaf fish is scared of the Gobys LOL

do you kno gobys are brackish?

They're not brackish as per se, but they tend to do beter in slightly brackish water. As do mollies, but hard alkaline FW is OK.

should probably get this changed then......

Care: Bumbleebee Gobies are often sold as "freshwater" fish but truely they will not survive long in a completly freshwater tank. They need salt in their water in order to survive.
