Lucky Bamboo Ok In A Lowlight 20gal Tank?

i have a vase with 3 lucky bamboo, and recently found a pic of someones tank on the internet, which has lucky bamboo init "fully submurged", is this ok, can it even live in an aquarium?

I wouldn't think it would last very long, perhaps its was added just for the photos?

Lucky bamboo (Dracaena sanderiana) cannot grow submerged.
It can last a little while under water without dying though, just like the Dracaena species that so many LFS' sell as an aquatic plant .
