Basically, I'm converting my current setup which is a barely stocked peaceful community tank, with moderate planting, bogwood, and sand.
I'm going to be changing to keeping Channa and for this I must have some more dense, and floating/overhanging plants, currently I dose ferts daily, have reasonable lighting and I'm going to buy a Co2 System on monday.

Question is; What tall plants can I have? What dense plants can I have? I'll need to keep some floating plants, which will receive a lot of good light, however they'll be blocking the lower, more dense plants in the tank. If my thoughts are correct i'll need plants that will be feeding on the nutrients in the water, and will be taking in the Co2 and will need extremely little light to thrive.

The species I will be keeping in this tank are not fond of light, and will appreciate dense growth.

All advice and opinions will be greatly appreciated, thanks.
