Low Filtration

Hey guys!! I'm kinda "starting fresh" with my 10 gallon tank, and I was looking into some shrimp with a betta. I was wondering, what does "low filtration" mean? I read somewhere that that' what ghost shrimp need. Sorry if that question sounds stupid. I used to think I was the "fish expert" but once I discovered this forum, I discovered that I am DEFINITELY not

It means that their bio load is small so the filtration required for them is small compared to that of a fish.

How do you decrease the filtration?

There's no need to, what it means is they don't require a lot of filtration, what you have already will be fine however.
