For a long time now I've been on the hunt for Nannostomus harrisoni which is one of those species that was once commonplace and now is rarely seen. So in addition to periodically checking the stock lists of the usual vendors I do a google search every week or so to see if there are any new listings...anywhere. Well, I got a hit from a Chinese site but not speaking Mandarin I asked google to translate. Here's the result. Not only is 'carp' a headscratcher but I wonder what inspired 'carp carp.' So here is "Hasle's small mouth fat carp."
