Lost Frog

I'm worried. Today after I got home I was looking in my aquarium and I couldn't find Prince... my Albino African Clawed Frog... I looked all over the place but he is missing. What should I do?

I'm so sorry to hear that. He must have jumped out. Did you look all around the floor and underneath things?

I've had that happen a number of times. Once I even thought my frog was dead; he was all icky looking and covered with cat hair. But I put him back into the tank and he revived.

I hope you find him, at least. I never did find my lost ADF.

Luckily I have never lost any of mine. I have heard that you can get a shallow pan or something like that and put some aquarium water in it. Place it in the room you think it may be in and they will be drawn to the water. I am not sure if that works or not, but thats what somebody once told me to do if I lost one. May want to give it a try. I know I would give anything a try if I lost one of my Frogs!

YAY! He magically appeared this morning. I have nooooo clue where he was hiding. This morning when I woke up I checked the tank and he was just sitting where he always does right in the front corner near a glass shell decoration. He's such a stinker. I am soooo glad he's back though!!

That is sooooo wierd!!! my frog did the same thing yesterday!!! I tore up the whole tank looking for him. I looked behind the tank, everywhere and finally resigned my self to think that he jumped out and my dog ate him , but I found him this morning safe and sound in my tank. maybe they thought it was April Fools day!!! LOL glad you found him

Thanks for caring so much guys, lol. Christopher (my Fiance' )thought it was pretty funny when I was crawling around the floor and hunting under the fridge for Prince... and all for nothing. I am soo glad he's safe and sound.
