Well, last week I reported that my tank had successfully cycled and I had added 5 neon tetras and 5 rummy nose tetras. It took a while for the fish to settle in and they seem to be doing a little better now.
Tonight, I was taking a look at them and noticed 1 rummy nose missing. It turns out that it was stuck near the bottom of the power head. I took the poor fella out. He had a greenish colour in his stomach.
The other tetra's seem OK, however I did notice that 2 of my remaining 4 also have a small greenish / blackish spot on their stomach. Could this be a disease that is spreading to the other fish? The neons are doing OK, fingeres crossed
I tetsed the water yesterday. Ammonia 0, Nitirites 0. Last time i tested pH it was neutral.
I feed twice a day, maybe I'll cut this down to once.
