Lost A Plec

Over the past few days i have noticed 1 of my Plecs (see signature of what they are) has gone missing. I gave him a day or 2 to come out from his usual hiding place, but no joy.

So yesterday evening during a partial water change, i removed the log and he's gone

During the water change, i notice something that vaugley resembles fish bones going up the tube I think he has been attacked by the larger Plec and the rest of the tank have helped dispose of the evidence.

Is this natural ? or just survival of the fittest

He may have just died and been eaten, its usually the 'normal' thing that happens when a fish dies in a tank and isn't removed. I wouldn't totally rule out that the bigger plec killed it, but its unlikely.
