Considering danios are tanks for aquariums, when i see a dead one it raises a big flag. this guy has been a little droopy latley, but most long finned danios are. i tested the water, trites:0 trates:0 ammonia: .01 ph:7.0
maybe it was this guy's time to go. i mean we cant expect our fish to live forever right?

Your tank is still cycling, although if its been set up for more than 3months i'd look into why your tank is mini cycling.
How many gallons is the tank and what are its current residents? Any backround info on any fish you might have lost recently or any issues the fish or tank have been having?

i thought i was through cycling, been running for almost 3 weeks now. 20 gallons. 5 danios, well 4 now, and 3 small guppys. (added 3 days ago.) no other deaths or issues to report.

Nope the tank is definatly still cycling, until until have exactly 0 nitrites and nitrates and a decent amount of nitrates, the tank is still cycling. Keep doing regular water changes, basically a water change anytime ammonia or nitrites rise above 0 and don't add anymore fish to your tank otherwise you'll find it near imposible to maintain good water quality for the time being.
