Looks Like My Green Sailfin Female Has Mouth Rot....

Ok, so the green sailfin i got at the weekend has produced me with 29 lovely little ones... however, she now looks like shes been a round with Mike Tyson. Her bottom lip is sticking right out as if shes been smacked in the chops.

anyone any ideas as to what this is and how to treat it?

You mean the lip has swollen up, she could of banged it on something in the tank, her mouth dosn't look red and inflamed does it, if not just add some melafix the swelling should go down in a day or two.

her bottom lip is hanging right out, as if she has been punched in it. Shes not active at all. I currently have in a large breeding trap and administered some anti fungus med

If there is no stringy fungus or fluffy patches on the mouth i don't no why you have added the med, this is mouth fungus.

Also if the mouth is drooping it could of dislocated it's jaw.

I just wanted to comment that the top pix is of a betta, and that is how their lips normally close. It doesn't have a swollen lip, the discoloration is the fungus.
