Looks Like Cotton Wool On Ernie's Fins

Hi everyone,
I think Ernie is sick. On a couple of his crown tail fins, at the very tips, I saw what looked like cotton wool today. I had a panic, did a water change, then added some medication. What I used was a medicine called Multi Cure. This treatment says that it is for White Spot, Velvet Disease and fungal diseases. The problem is, now that I've had time to do a bit of research, I'm thinking he may have Columnaris. Could anyone please let me know what they think Ernie has? I wanted to treat Ernie before he got any worse, but I think I may have done the wrong thing.

Now that I've put the medicine in the tank, it has turned the water bright green. I can't get a good look at him with my own eyes, there's no way the camera would show up his problem. I did notice his eyes were slightly larger than the other Bettas yesterday. Nothing too obvious though, so hopefully that wasn't a sign of something bad.
