Looks Like Black Fur?

Hi,


I have recently noticed a type of fur growing on plastic plants, and other decor in the tank, anyone have any ideas what it may be? I recently put some bogwood and some live plants in the tank, and the fur does not appear to be on them?

Thanks, the link provides some useful info, in terms of getting rid it suggests no water changes, but not happy to follow that route, I have 2 chinese algae eaters in another tank, any ideas if they will eat it, it does state that siamese algae eaters will do the job. Any other suggestions would be helpful.
