Looks Like Bacterial Infection?

Bacteria lives in the tank thats why it's so important to keep up with water changes and gravel vacs.
The anti internal bacteria med shouldn't knock your filter it's not that strong.

Thanks Wilder.

Since seperating the sick fish, i've had no more showing any signs of illness. The sick ones have had one dose of med (11am 17/02)

i lost one bronze just after that. The two other bronze are still the same, but the Panda, who was the last to show any signs of illness, is busy around the tank and his black patches have returned to black. :good:

I know i have had lots of questions but, sorry, have a couple more

How will i know when its safe to put the fish back together?

i know its difficult because they haven't got a fungus or anything only the fading is visible.

Thanks for all your help

I would wait at least another week before adding them back to the main tank.
Black patches can be ammonia burns that are healing.

The black patches i was refering to them was their normal markings which had faded. The panda is still doing well, but the bronze dont appear to be. I think whatever it is, was more developed in them and the panda is larger and stronger. I'll give them second dose in three days and see what happens.

Thanks
