Looking To Revamp 29G

Hey all! I currently have a 29 gallon up and running. This weekend I am switching substrate to sand and I would like to try a few live plants... I havent had any success with that so far.

I plan to keep a pair of kribs, 2 black angels and my BN plec. Would love some stocking suggestions. I love hearing what people would do with different set ups.

May I suggest a shoaling fish as these would look really nice with angels, not to go for small ones but something like cardinals or lemon tetras over something like galaxy rasboras

If you're having sand as a substrate 6 corydoras wouldnt be a bad idea. Or khuli loaches maybe?
