well ive been bitten by the bug and really want to get one large tank, rather than having 3 small.

the only place i have for a 4 ft tank, would be prefect as a sort of room divider, but this would mean i wouldnt have it against a wall, it would be sticking out from a wall.

I think this could look really stunning, and it would be cool to see the fish from almost all sides of the tank. but i have questions about the filter. how would u guys suggest i set up the inlet and outlet pipes from my external? could I have them both on the same end? i would imagine u try to place them as far apart as u can to get the best filtration. do you think its possible to maybe get some straight non flexible tubing so I could run it along the top of the tank and keep it clean looking?

any thoughts on having a tank dividing a room, anyone have any pics of thiers?

thanks

as im writing this, i realize, i could get spray bar extension tubes, and just have the water coming out at a reasonable distance from the uptake tube right?

Yes my suggestion would be one long spray bar. You could extend it over the whole tank and maybe get some silicone and block the first parts holes so that more pressure goes out the end, or attach it to some other piping running inside. I think that would be the best idea.

The tank would look lovely beig seen both sides! I don't see a problem as long as people are careful around it as it might be a bit exposed to damage!

I wanted to do this, allpondsolutions sell the perfect tank for it too....

I'd recommend using a set of glass lily pipes instead of using spray bars etc, they're purposely designed for circulating water well along the length of the tank:

They're very discreet also.

That's a great idea. I'm going to do that for my planted tank.

i purchased the tank, picked this up for 60 quid. Im very happy so far. just need to replace the T5 ballast, another 15 quid, and it should be up and running soon. Ill look into the glass lilly pipes. Ive seen them on peoples tanks, but never knew exactly what they were for. i always see them in CO2 injected tanks, which this one wont be.
